Join us for the "Back to Basic of Sisterhood" Reactivation Event!
Are you ready to reconnect with your sorors and celebrate the bond of sisterhood? Then mark your calendars for Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM! Omega Psi Omega is thrilled to invite you to this exciting in-person event taking place at the Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. Meeting Center located at 155 Hilton Avenue (corner of Hilton Avenue and Russell Street), Vauxhall, New Jersey 07088.
At this event, we will be going back to the basics with a variety of activities designed to strengthen the bond of sisterhood. You will be provided with updated information on the sorority and information about the awarding winning Omega Psi Omega chapter. It will be a day filled with laughter, joy, and heartfelt conversations.
Come dressed in an outfit that represents the fashions worn the year you were initiated. So, if it was the 2000’s, put on that monochromic ‘oh so pretty’ in pink look; if it was the 90's, put on that pink and green color-blocked look; or if it was the 80's, go for that pink tutu with slouch socks.
This event is only open to inactive and general members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® You will be asked to provide your date of initiation and financial card number when you register. Come party with the ladies of Omega Psi Omega Chapter at our old-school brunch. There will be food, music, mimosas and bellinis. This is an event you don’t want to miss!
Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Noah Osteria Dell’Orologio, located at 14 Julian Place, Elizabeth, New Jersey.
There will be special surprise Bar Star….
Tickets are $55 and include options from the brunch menu. All proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships and programs serving the areas of Elizabeth, Linden, Rahway, and Roselle.
There is parking at the public lot located at 30 West Grand Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Omega Psi Omega is determined to Soar to greater heights by Strengthening our Sisterhood and reclaiming our lost pearls. We invite inactive Sorors to join us on December 10, 2022 to mix, mingle and reconnect.

There will be food, music, stogies & cognac! Friday, June 17, 2022, 7pm – 11pm at the Galloping Hill Golf Course. Tickets are $75 including a cigar, beverage & choice of an appetizer. All proceeds will go toward scholarships and community programs.

If you are unable to complete the suggested workouts, go for a walk and try to complete anywhere from 2,000 to 10,000 steps each day. Remember to drink 64 oz of water each day. Also, add 20 to 50 sit-ups to your daily routine.
At the end of each week, celebrate all of your successes! And take a moment to focus on self-care with Sisterly Self-Care Sunday! This fitness challenge isn’t solely about our waistline but our overall wellness!
Remember this is a marathon and not a sprint! See you at the finish line June 30, 2022!

Omega Psi Omega has been busy at work with hosting a series of financial workshops in the months of March and April to provide financial tips and tricks for building your wealth, learning more about life insurance, investing and more! This 4 part series covered all the bases and the attendees received a ton of information!
A healthy heart forum focused on the effects of cardiovascular disease among African American women. Our healthy heart campaign shared information to increase heart awareness in our community during the month in March for women’s month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among African American women.
