Teaneck, NJ-Omega Psi Omega hosted the Cluster IV 116th Founders’ Day Celebration at the Marriott Teaneck Glenpointe Hotel. The first in-person Founders’ Day event since the pandemic. “Rededicate, Recharge, and Reignite the Eternal Flames of Our Founders” was the theme of the event, which featured Soror Tahesha Way, Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey, and Soror Tamika D. Mallory, political activist and organizer. Both issued a call to civic action for all sorors from the local to the federal levels. Keynote speaker Madam Regional Director Elicia Pegues Spearman brought words of inspiration, motivation, and encouragement aligned with the principles of our Founders. The dais also seated our 32nd North Atlantic Regional Director Constance Pizarro, Cluster IV Co-Coordinators, Soror Yomi Forsh-Hamilton and Elizabeth Nolley, Cluster IV Founders’ Day Chairman and Co-Chairman, Soror Kim Sealy and Soror Cristina Bass, and Chapter Basileus Soror Lisa P. Gay. More than 250 sorors were in attendance.   

During the 93rd North Atlantic Regional Conference, Omega Psi Omega held the responsibility of planning the fitness events and evaluations for the 5000 members in attendance. The chapter successfully organized Piloting and Zumba classes that took place during the conference. 

At the 91st and 92nd North Atlantic Regional Conference, our chapter was proudly recognized as one of the Best of the Best for excellence in membership.

The honor was accepted on behalf of the chapter, representing the dedication, growth, and strength that define who we are. This achievement reflects our continued commitment to building and sustaining a thriving sisterhood.
